HYDEN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

HYDEN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PTY LTD (HBD) is a company of local investors working cooperatively for the benefit of business development for Hyden and surrounding districts.

HBD can offer potential new Hyden business operators with local customer base, local area knowledge, assistance with housing and commercial premises, promotion and occasionally some financial support.

In 2006 HDB shareholders are demonstrating their ongoing confidence in the business potential of Hyden, investing $500 000 in the construction two executive homes in Smith Loop and Hynds Street . HBD welcomes new businesses to our district.

Currently initiatives supported by HBD include;

• Sale of light industrial premises, (constructed by HBD in 2000 and extended in 2003), to Hyden Steel Fabricators on vendor terms - showing confidence in entrepreneurial young business operators Jason and Anouska Falconer. Phone  0898805555
• Offering for tender an attractive and comfortable five year old 4 bedroom home in Smith Loop Hyden.
• Sponsoring establishment of new electrical tradesman's business in Hyden with Luke and Laura Beringer commencing Beringer Electrics in Hyden in July 2005. Call Luke on 0427 773 707.
• Installing "Tradesmen Wanted" sign in Hyden's main street - currently Hyden is seeking shearers, plumber, carers, hospitality workers and more. Please call Jane on 08 98807016 for details.   
• Construction of two quality  brick and colourbond, three bedroom /two bathroom executive houses in Hyden’s new townsite.
